INTRO DIVES
Try scuba diving for the first time with just a minimum of theory and skills in small groups
If you’re interested in scuba diving, but unsure if you want to enroll in a certification class, IntroDive is the perfect option. In a very short time, you’ll take your first breaths underwater surrounded by thousands of colourful fish.
At WSD, we conduct IntroDives in small groups of usually 2 divers (max ratio 1:3). We will fit you with scuba gear and one of our permanent PADI instructors will explain how to use it safely. You’ll practice 4 basic diving skills in Jemeluk Bay with pool-like conditions, and then continue with a guided open water dive on a beautiful reef at a maximum depth of 12m. This first dive is usually followed by a second without skills and we always try to change the dive site when possible. The second dive site is usually Lipah, the best site in Amed/Tulamben area to spot marine turtles !
At WSD, this program is available in 5 languages : French, German, English, Spanish & Indonesian.
Your kids want to try diving but are younger than 10? With the age of 8 or 9 years they can do a Bubblemaker with a maximum depth of 2 meters in the ocean.
We will pick you up at your hotel in Amed at around 8am and you will be back before 2pm.
